PILOT FOUNTAIN PEN NIPPON ART SAKURA IN SNOW $621
Pilot Fountain Pens Namiki pen is the one produced with the rarest of the rare technical know-how. The pen set has benefited from the exceptional technique of one of the last producers in the world, who masters all the segments in the process of pen making until the final product is made.
To produce the classic Pilot Nippon Art Sakura in Snow Fountain pen, the finest materials have been used by the skilled Japanese artists. And, to achieve the design printed over the body and cap, the theme is stenciled upon a resin base. The technique is known as Maki-e lacquering-an ancient pen making technique, which involves coating of multi-layered patterns over the barrel and cap of the pen set applying urushi – sap a material obtained from a specific Japanese lacquer tree.
In order to decorate the pen set, the lacquer is laid over the body one by one. After one coat, that coat is retained to dry and sanded with charcoal obtained from the wood of camellia or cherry tree. Then, the Namiki pen is polished with bare hand until it becomes smooth like satin. The handmade and hand-painted designs highlight the richest images and decoration over this fine pen.
This handcrafted Pilot Snow Fountain pen portrays a real natural image coming alive over the pen body. So, just like the unusual technique of its manufacturing, this kind of the pen set can rarely be found in rest of the places. Nevertheless, the designs combined over the pen set are those, which are difficult to be ignored even by the elite executives.
Similarly, the writing skills of the Namiki pen set have also been tried and tested for years and thus the Pilot Nippon Snow Fountain pen can be trusted for writing fluently and flawlessly. The pen set can be considered a milestone in the history of pen making. The exclusive writing instrument is a luxury available at an easily affordable price of $621.
