Summerfest Music Festival 2008, Milwaukee, WI - June 26th to July 6th

SummerFest Music Festival sees a wide range of the world’s top music artists all coming together in one huge event. We will even see the amazing Stevie Wonder taking the centre stage this year!

With more than thirty years behind them, the mainstay of hard rock, Rush, are signed to play an unbeatable driving rock set, bound to be innovative even after all this time. The band have been touring and will be on top form for the night.

Another artist from the highest ranks of rock is signed to perform at the Summerfest Music Festival - Tom Petty, with his band the Heartbreakers. He is bound to perform his top hits such as “ Free Fallin’ ”. Tom is loved by all, and is the perfect pick for this huge festival. Not only that, we are to be treated to an appearance by Steve Winwood, the Grammy Award winning musician from the Midlands in England – we’ll be “Back in the High Life Again”.

Chart topping country singer Tim McGraw will be taking to the stage, with his extensive background of Country to draw on. This should be a great set, and is part of his wider tour of America. We will also hear from the country pop act Rascall Flatts with their amazing mix of contemporary and country sounds. The band is known for the soundtrack to the movie “Cars” in 2006 and have only improved since.

Rock trio, Jonas Brothers, will be bringing things completely up-to-date with their heart searching rock sound and heavy guitar riffs. The band will bring a high speed feel and a youthful sound to the SummerFest Music Festival.

More artists are continually being signed to fill the massive area of the festival and to make sure that you never get any sleep at all! With over seven different stages, and the main stage in the Marcus Amphitheatre, a seating capacity of over 25000 makes Milwaukee the perfect venue for the SummerFest Music Festival.
