Most romantic comedies are very rare to find. He’s just not that into you is a 2009 American romantic comedy which made it to list of the most romantic comedies. It was based on the self help book of the same name written by Greg behrendt and Liz tuccillo. Directed by Ken Kwapis, the movie has a large star cast comprising of ginnifer Goodwin as Gigi Phillips, Jennifer Aniston as Beth Murphy, drew Barrymore as Mary Harris, Jennifer Connelly as Janine gunders, Bradley cooper as Ben gunders, Kevin Connolly as Conor Barry, Ben Affleck as Neil Jones and Scarlett Johansson as Anna Taylor.

All the stories lie parallel and revolve around Gigi (ginnifer). Gigi is rejected by Conor, and then she turns to her friend Alex (Justin Long) for advice. She interprets his behavior to show that he likes her. But after she tries to kiss him, he says that she is mistaken. Afterwards, he understands his mistake and goes to Gigi’s apartment and kisses her. They are later shown to be seriously engaged. Her co-worker Janine (Jennifer) is married to Ben (Bradley) who is cheating on her with Anna (Scarlett). Eventually, Ben tells Janine that he is having an affair but she takes it in her stride, saying that they have not had sex in a long while. She then comes to his office to have sex with him, when he is actually trying to do it with Anna. He makes her leave, and then Anna also leaves. Janine and Ben divorce and Janine starts her new life. Anna though was also dating Conor casually, who wanted to pursue a serious relationship with her. Later, they hook up, but break up when Conor asks her to move in with him. Conor then meets Mary (drew) who begin dating. Beth (Jennifer Aniston), also a co-worker of Gigi, is living with her boyfriend Neil (Ben) since seven years. After seeing that he is not ready to marry her, she breaks up, but later on they get married.

One of the most romantic comedies, the movie had mixed reactions from both critics and viewers, but it was successful at the box office. The budget for this movie was a whopping $25 million, making it one of the most romantic comedies.
