Most romantic comedies are sure to make people have a great time. All about Steve, a 2009 American romantic comedy is one among of the most romantic comedies. Directed by Phil Traill, it has Sandra bullock as Mary Horowitz, and Bradley Cooper as Steve and Thomas Haden church, as Hartman Hughes, in the lead roles. The plot of the movie revolves around Mary, a crossword puzzle writer for a newspaper based in Sacramento, and Steve, the cameraman of a cable news reporter.

Mary (Sandra) is a very intelligent lady, who comes across as an oddball to most people. People find her reclusive due to her passion for creating good work. She is currently staying with her parents because her apartment is currently going through maintenance. Her parents decide to set her up with the son of close friends, namely Steve (Bradley). After a blind date with Steve, Mary decides that he is the absolute love of her life and she decides to go after him for every shoot. However, Steve is appalled by her furious advances towards love, and fells awkward towards her. But Mary has made up her mind to follow Steve through the cross country, where he is covering breaking news for the cable channel. Though, Steve is highly irritated by her stalking, his boss Hartman (Thomas) tells her that Steve is actually excited to have her around and that she should keep following them. But a twist in the tale ensures that Steve and Hartman begin to like Mary, due to an accident, they begin to see her in a whole different light. At the end of the movie, one can sense that she has now got new friends to look up to.

Though the movie was one of the most romantic comedies, it received a mixed reaction from critics and audiences alike. Both Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper were held in highlight due to their roles in the proposal and the hangover, respectively. Sandra’s character Mary was said to be confused and Bradley’s character Steve was considered as a smiling dummy.

The budget allotted for All about Steve, one of most romantic comedies was said to be $ 15 million.
