Ernst Benz Watches – The Limited Edition Centennial – $ 15000

Ernst Benz watches, in continuation with their Chronosport wrist watches, now present the collectible limited edition Centennial that features an engraved image of the original Wright Flyer. This luxury watch is available for sale in three models. Each of the 1903 wrist watches will have its own unique serial number. 1903 is the year of the Flyer I’s take off, and this is what this wrist watch celebrates.

Centennial Ernst Benz watches house the Valjoux 7750 that powers the chronograph with an ETA 2846 movement that controls the day and date functions. The watchcase is constructed from two scratch resistant sapphire crystals and is a massive 47 mm in diameter, enclosing the watch face, held on your wrist with a 22 mm hand-stitched alligator strap/bracelet with a gold plated deployment clasp. The screw in crown make this designer watch water resistant at 330 feet.

The limited edition Ernst Benz watches will dedicate a percentage of their revenue from the sales of these watches to the First Flight Centennial Foundation. More of a collectable watch than a fashion or dress watch, these fine watches are for watch collectors who like the best watch brands in their collection. There are two in the Centennial line – and both feature the custom large Ernst Benz case. The solid gold Centennial watch is limited to 100 pieces. The back of this watch is fitted with eight solid gold screws. Through the sapphire crystal exhibition window you can get a sharp view of the decorated movement and the raised engraved Wright Flyer image.

When you buy the solid gold Centennial Ernst Benz watch, you are also the recipient of a scaled and hand crafted collectible model of the Wright Flyer, which is good enough reason for someone with a watch-collecting hobby to covet this watch. For those who find the solid gold version expensive at $ 15000, you can opt for the stainless steel centennial version that is a little more than one-tenths of the price, and is available for sale.

These Ernst Benz watches can be ordered from authorized Ernst Benz watches dealers. You can also find them at aero museums, flight shops, etc. Quite a few of these have reserved their copies. So keep track of the watch forums, reviews and discussions to know when these Ernst Benz watches will be auctioned off.
