Alive Music Festival, or as it is called this year, Alive08 is quite simply a huge Christian music festival with a solid following after 21 years at the top.

With nearly eighty of the top Christian artists already signed up to play, and over twenty of the most dynamic and influential Christian speakers ready to share their knowledge, the Alive Music Festival 2008 should be a date in your diary.

Before even starting to talk about the quality of the bands playing, it is worth seeing who will be speaking. From the passionate preaching of Louie Giglio, through Phil Joel (the former bassist of the Newsboys and now engaged in work for the Lord across the US), to Phil Savage, the senior vice president of the Cleveland Browns and also including David Jay, the well known photographer and entrepreneur – all walks of life are covered by the seminars during the Alive Music Festival.

And the bands which are playing – well! With their fast guitar based Christian rock, Hawk Nelson will be rocking the stage with songs like “Friend Like That” as part of their mini US tour. GMA Dove Award winning Chris Tomlin will be praising the Lord with his clean cut sound, and with a completely different style, the incredible Praise-apella will be singing to the Lord at the Alive Music Festival. The lady with the beautiful voice, Francesca Battistelli, will also be raising the roof and her praises with her blend of Christian guitar folk music. One to watch out for.

This festival is definitely one to bring all your friends to – introduce them to the cutting edge of contemporary Christian music, faith and praise. Spending four days with the top Christian artists, and thousands of other similar Christians will be the experience of a lifetime at the Alive Music Festival.
